January

January was filled with work, work, work but we managed to pull off a trip to S. California at the end of the month. We hadn’t seen several family members in a year and there was a memorial service for David’s biological father at the end of January. We started our trip with a quick stop in Austin to see Nick, Margaret and Lydia. We then flew to San Diego and spent a few days with Christine’s dad and stepmom, Dick and Debbie. We enjoyed getting to see them and other extended family. We then drove to LA for the service, and on to Sun City to visit David’s mom, Sharon, and his Aunt Patty, Uncle Rick and the rest of the fam. It was a packed trip with lots of family time and we enjoyed it so much. I think Covid has made us all appreciate more the time we get to spend with loved ones. We were extremely careful during our travels and managed to stay Covid free. Yay!

Noah turned 21 on Jan. 28th! Still freaks me out saying it. My baby is 21! The 28th was also Nick and Margaret’s anniversary. They celebrated 4 years. Can’t believe it’s already February. Tomorrow is the Superbowl and we plan to hang out with Noah, Maggie, Amylyn, Adrian and Rowan. We will also celebrate Noah and Maggie’s birthdays since we were gone when they happened. Hoping for some snow but it’s doubtful.
